STEM EDUCATION THROUGH THE LENS OF VIDEO GAMES...

The purpose of our youth esports STEM homeschool co-op is to provide a unique, structured environment where homeschool students can combine their passion for esports with a well-rounded STEM education.

This program focuses on blending academic growth, technical skills, and personal development through engaging, team-based activities that align with modern educational and industry needs. Here's a breakdown of our goals:

1. Foster STEM Learning

Curriculum Integration: Esports activities are tied to STEM principles like coding, engineering, data analysis, and problem-solving.

Real-World Applications: Students learn how concepts like physics, networking, and computer science underpin gaming and esports technologies.

2. Encourage Social Interaction

Community Building: Our co-op provides homeschoolers with opportunities to collaborate, compete, and build friendships in a team-based environment.

Soft Skills: Our kids develop communication, teamwork, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills essential for success in and out of gaming.

3. Prepare for Future Careers

Industry Awareness: Exposure to esports-related career paths, including game development, graphic design, broadcasting, coaching, and IT.

Portfolio Building: Students can create projects, host events, or develop strategies that enhance their academic and professional resumes.

Values-Centered Coaching: A focus on sportsmanship, resilience, and respect ensures the program fosters positive character development.

This co-op is designed to help students thrive academically, socially, and personally, all while pursuing their interests in esports and STEM.

Learning Hours: We hold weekly classes from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM

- 1 Hour of Structured STEM Learning in Esports, Information Technology, Computer Science, and Cybersecurity

- 1 Hour of Practical Application of concepts learned

- 2 Hours of free social time & gaming in our amazing esports arena!
